If you're into having fun, hanging out with friends and learning new things then Red Cross Cadets is for you.
Join now and you'll be part of the world's largest humanitarian organisation. The Red Cross is everywhere; in war torn countries and those struck by disaster. Red Cross also plays a major role in the Australian community, assisting older persons, families and people with disabilities. So you're not just having fun, you're helping all sorts of people.
During your cadet training you will learn to abseil off a cliff, raft down rapids and survive out in the bush. You'll also learn first-aid, things like bandaging up a broken arm, treating snake bites and how to save someone's life using CPR.
You may even get a chance to meet some of your sporting heroes at the soccer, football or cricket by going to the game as a first aider!
You'll get a great looking uniform for free, take on a whole heap of new challenges, learn leadership skills, teamwork and responsibility. It's once a week and some weekends away with your friends.
