The Australian Army Cadets (AAC) is a voluntary youth organisation sponsored by the Australian Army and is part of the Australian Defence Force Cadets. Membership is open to young people aged between 12.5 and 19 years.
The goals of the AAC are:
- To develop Army Cadets into more effective citizens within a safe, enjoyable and challenging military-like environment.
- To enhance the knowledge and skills of Army Cadets in leadership, teamwork, community service and other valued qualities.
- To provide a positive experience for Army cadets that will lead support for Defence.
Training activities include: bushcraft, communications, survival, drill and ceremonial, first-aid, camping, abseiling, map reading and navigation.
As with all the Cadet types, you are guaranteed some serious fun while learning new skills and gaining valuable experience. CadetsWAY… better than you imagine.
